Thank you so much for taking the time.

Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage. Jemima met us in the pouring rain and we had a nice chat about Skye and the cottage. The welcoming scones and homemade jam were delicious and much needed after the long drive across the country. Even though the weather was hit and miss during the week, we had an absolute ball. The location of Bluebell Cottage is so picturesque and it was a delight to watch the numerous garden birds at the feeder. We look forward to returning in the future.

Rick and Kamila,

We had a lovely week in this perfect little home, furnished and equipped with love, taste and attention. If I'd give a number on a scale of 10, I would say a 9. We loved it and regretted to have to leave this wonderful place so soon. We will surely return for a longer stay.

Fried van Bijnen,

Thank you for an amazing holiday. The cottage was perfect in everyway. It was great to be so close to Blaven and we spent the week in the local area, even getting some time sunbathing in the private garden.

Jemima and Rupert were great hosts and we hope to meet up with them again

Karen and Martin,

Jemima was very helpful with directions and easy to get in contact with. The cottage was absolutely wonderful, very homely, and with all the amenities. The location is stunning, waking up every morning to the view of the Red Cullins was something! Also, the shower! Fantastic coming home to that lovely shower after a hard days hiking. Bluebell Cottage is gorgeous and highly recommended. Will be back to Skye and will be checking to see if Bluebell Cottage is available!

Sonia Jackett,

We had a short winter break here. This is a clean, warm, draught free, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and well designed chalet, set in an achingly beautiful location with a stunning view of the Red Cuillins. It is an ideal base for a quiet break and for exploring the hills and coastal walks of Skye. There are a couple of supermarkets in Broadford (5 miles away)for provisions and fuel. The cottage derives added originality and character by being decorated with art works from the studio opposite. A delight, and well worth a visit.

Norman, Anne & Ailsa,

We had a wonderful stay in Bluebell Cottage and would most definitely recommend it to anyone else. The cottage is brand new, it's even nicer I think than it looks in the photos, and Jemima and Rupert couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. It's very warm - useful probably any time of year in Skye but especially just after Christmas when we went - and the setting is magical, looking onto the incredible Red Cullin mountains from one window, with the Black Cullins just on the other side. Torrin is pretty well situated for exploring Skye, near enough to Broadford and elsewhere to get around but remote enough to feel very special.

Thank you for a fantastic stay! Our peaceful stay was perfect. The location allowed us to explore the island each day, and the comfortable cozy cottage was the perfect place to retire each night. Thank you.

It was just lovely and relaxing staying at Bluebell Cottage in Torrin on the Isle of Skye. This brand new cottage had everthing you could need for a relaxing self-catering holiday. Jenny and I found the location was an excellent base for us to explore all over Skye as well as around the mainland for our week in north western Scotland. The number of short and longer fantastic walks on offer was amazing. On our first morning we walked from the cottage, dwafed on both sides by the mountains of Beinn Nacro and Beinn Dearg, up to a lovely loch and back. Other great walks allowed us to catch the local buses back to the cottage.
Torrin provided an excellent base for drives to lots of great attractions like Dunvegan Castle, a boat trip from Elgol on the Bella Jane to see the seals and walk along Loch Coruisk, a trip to Plockton via Kyle of Lochalsh and a trip to the southern point on Sleat, the southern peninsula of Skye. A local bus even goes out to Elgol via Torrin from Broadford- great if you don't have a car.
Broadford had good shopping, fuel and of course, a good coffee shop. Torrin even has a great little coffee shop - excellent after a local walk!
Being Jemima and Rupert's first guests to their new cottage was very special. They were such wonderful hosts giving us lots of tips on this lovely part of the world and being so friendly and open. Very nice people.
I can highly recommend Bluebell Cottage for your stay on Skye. Peter.
